La Vallée is a 3 parts virtual reality experience, currently in progress.
This project is interested in the notion of disappearance across the spectrum of contemporary society.
The term evaporated - Johatsu - refers in the Japanese collective imagination to the fate of individuals come to the hot springs to shed their past before «reborn» elsewhere.
La Vallée addresses this notion of social evaporation and issues related to our era: the paradox of loneliness due to over-interaction with the other, the complexity of being realized in a system where the individual and his image tend to to confuse, the need for man to understand scales and limits while these are abolished by the digital and virtual revolution ...
